Keep an eye out for roving entertainers as you never know when one is going to pop up. Be prepared to see some superhuman skills, and if they ask you to join in the action, make sure you do! For a few free activities, get your groove on, in the silent disco. Smash some pins at Strike Bowling and get down to nature with the marine touch tank. The Festival Market will be spread all over McCoombes Reserve and Craft Markets Australia will make sure you don't go home empty-handed. If you have an eye for art, head to the Mechanics Institute 1N Plowman Place, Frankston, for artworks from local artists you can add to your collection.
For a bit of a relax in-between sets or just to take a break, head to the food truck square and festival dining, where a variety of flavours from across the globe await your consumption. Then kick back on the grass at the garden bar and add some bubbles, a brew or cider, and soak up the sounds of some of Melbourne's hottest live music acts as you watch the sun set over the bay. There's also the landmark lawn and lounge with space to sprawl out on and take in the entire festival.
The beach will be open from 11am to 6pm daily, and there's plenty to see and do with Beach and Beyond activities, from water sports and activities to fun in the sand. Don't forget your bathers! Why not try something new like snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, sailing or scuba diving? With plenty to choose from to participate in, all weekend, its bound to ramp up the pleasure zones of your being, and you'll feel like you've just been away on a little holiday weekend. Make the most of it!
