Support Local Artists
Do you have a wall that's crying out for a beautiful work of art?
The Watercolour Society of Queensland may be able to help. On 7th and 8th April they are hosting an exhibition of original watercolour paintings (framed and unframed), as well as miniatures and cards painted by local artists. All will be for sale. The exhibition will be held at the Auditorium, Brisbane Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, Toowong.
You might also find a unique gift for your friends or family. A friend of mine bought this beautiful painting of wattle several years ago. As you can see the standard of work at these exhibitions is very high. Artists range from beginners to the well known.
You can enjoy light refreshments from the pop-up cafe as an additional treat.
