Wondering where you can find 'made in Singapore' films? Are they just old movies made by Shaw Brothers and Cathay Keris? Find out who are the directors in this sunny island state. Here you find them in the right place!

Watch Local 2016 will screen the first short and feature films from a selection of Singapore filmmakers such as Boo Junfeng, Wee Li Lin, and Liao Jiekai. It will be focus on a different director each night, providing a unique perspective on each director's creative journey from the first short film to the first feature film.

There will be post-screening discussions which allow the audience to hear from these filmmakers on their journeys. Various genres will be covered in this festival, from comedy to horror to drama.
