Event:
Get crafty and environmentally conscious in this workshop
Get thrifty and crafty in this fun and informative event, making your own t-shirt macrame planters!

On the 22nd of June, join Maria Yebra from Laneway Learning at the Springvale Community Hub, for a one and a half hour evening workshop, sure to be loved by those wanting to DIY and also wanting to help the planet. Fast fashion is a problem our planet is facing, and many of us are aware of our carbon footprint we are leaving behind. This workshop will teach you how to create your own yarn from those old t-shirts you have lying around. With this yarn, you'll be able to make plenty of things - but in this class, we're learning how to make a macrame planter.

To participate in this class, please bring along a few old t-shirts. Preferably, it will have no embroidery and no ribbed cotton. This workshop is free, but bookings are essential, so make sure to book your place here before spots run out!
