A sold out crowd of thousands crammed between the oak barrels at Bird in Hand Winery, Woodside. The mass of people were brought by a band of buses from all around South Australia on a chilly Saturday night to enjoy premium wines, gourmet catering and above all the extraordinary talent of Washington.

With her piano and band at hand, the uniquely beautiful voice of Megan Washington resonated throughout Barrel Hall and it didn't take long for the crowd to warm up. So much so the set list had to be "recalibrated" to account for a highly enthusiastic crowd (no doubt fuelled by the free flowing bottles of wine).

After recalibration, the crowd laughed, cried, danced and sang along to the alternative/jazz/pop songs from the hugely popular and critically acclaimed album 'I Believe You Liar'. Popular songs included 'How to Tame Lions', 'Clementine', 'Sunday Best' and a cheeky cover of 'I Touch Myself' by the Divinyls.

Whilst this was an exclusive performance in a sublime setting, don't miss the opportunity to see Washington live when next you have the chance. The recordings are spectacular but it isn't until you hear her in concert that you can truly appreciate the outstanding vocal quality of this Australian singer/songwriter.

Meanwhile, Washington fans worldwide will patiently and eagerly await the next masterpiece with which will certainly be met with intrigue and enamour. Keep updated at: www.washingtonmusic.com.au
