Warrior Women is the latest Artist Run Initiative in Brisbane. Its about women doing it for themselves. This ARI is building a network to support and nurture the artistic talents of women in South East Queensland.



The network spans across the arts including visual art, music and performance art.

Warrior Women are having their first showcase on the 9th of May at the Hamilton Town Hall, 36 Racecourse Road Hamilton.

Tickets are $35 each and include entry to the event, that starts at 6pm, and includes supper. Great value!

This is a family friendly event and children under 12 are free.

So grab a ticket and enjoy an evening of live music, body painting, art and more.

Some of the artists exhibiting are Cecilia Hine, Sam Randall, Amy de Oliveira, and Omilee.

Body painting by Always Wicked Art and the Queensland Body Artists Society .
The musical line up includes Indy Blue , Amy Henschell , Loise Winter , Louise D'Arcy and Lesa Lou .
