Gather the troops and head here

Warrawee Park Oval is a big open play space for children and adults to enjoy located in Oakleigh, a short distance away from trains, buses, cafes, and shops. At Warrawee Park there is a large playground with slides, monkey bars, spinning equipment, swings, and tunnels. It's a very popular playground and kids love it.

There are lots of seating options around the oval with rotundas and shade. They also have water fountains, so if you forget your drink bottle you're all set. I like the Warrawee Park Oval because it's a great place to go walking and is lovely on a nice sunny day.

There is a small amount of parking across from the park and is right across the road from the Oakleigh library. Many times in the past, we have brought a picnic along with us or even attended the Oakleigh Fair, which is hosted annually with Warrawee Park turning into a fun haven for families with fairy floss, rides and entertainment.

If you live in the Oakleigh area and want a new playground to take your children to, I highly recommend the Warrawee Park.

On a side note, it is also a great location to go to if you play Pokemon Go, as there's is a lot of poke-stops.
