Wake up and smell the lavender
For those lucky enough to not suffer from hay fever, Spring is a wonderful season that brings everything back to life again after a dull winter - and what better way to appreciate nature in full bloom than at an Open Garden Weekend!

Located in Wandin North, Warratina Lavender Farm is home to over 10, 000 lavender plants that you can get up close and personal to on November 26th and 27th.

For just $10 for adults and $5 for children over 12, you can stroll through the never-ending gardens of these beautiful, bright purple flowers and get a closer look at the original homestead gardens.

An array of stalls, craft demonstrations, entertainment and delicious foods including lavender scones, ice cream, sausages and more will also be there for you to enjoy. Proceeds from the entry fee go to the Wandin Country Fire Authority.

So if you're able to venture outside in Spring to soak up nature in its finest form, Warratina Lavender Farm's Open Garden Weekend is a wonderful little event that will really make you appreciate the wonderful Earth that we live on.
