Warratina Lavender Farm is hosting a Patchwork Quilt Exhibition, supported by Yarra Valley Quilt Yarn and Sew. Head over to the Lavender Farm at 105 Quayle Rd, Wandin Yallock, on 11 May 2019 from 10am to 4pm for the first day of the exhibition which runs through till 26 May 2019. Tickets are $5 adult and $3.50 concession for the exhibition, which you pay at the event. Entry to the farm is free. Children go free.
You'll find some items are for sale, with proceeds donated to the local CFA. Enjoy the beautiful workmanship and talent of the local makers, in a magnificent display of quilts, cushions, dolls, embroidery and more. There'll be Devonshire tea specials, all day breakfasts and lunch options to whet your appetite every day.
If you're planning on coming on Mother's Day (Sun 12 May), being one of the busiest days of the year, bookings are essential for that sumptuous lunch or morning tea. While you're there give mum a treat of lavender products or stock up for yourself in the gift shop.
There's a large range for wholesale and retail sale, including dried lavender, household, culinary and cosmetic ranges, fancy goods and gift packs. You can buy these online or on site. The farm is open 6 days a week year round (closed Tuesdays) from 9am to 4pm from Feb to Sep and till 5pm from Oct to Jan, so drop in to check out that exhibition at a time that suits you, and do good for the local CFA.
