Warranwood Primary School's Spring Fair is on Saturday November 11th from 12 pm to 7pm. With an extended finish time to cover lunch and dinner, this is gearing up to be biggest yet.

Many community groups and local businesses will be at this event, so not only will this raise much-needed funds for the school, it will be a fun and enjoyable day for everyone who attends. Whether you call in for the market stalls or stay the day for the rides and entertainment, there is something for everyone, adults and kids alike.



Rides are a big attraction. There will be the Cha Cha, Cliff Hanger, Wild One Roller Coaster, Giant Super Slide, Hurricane, Giddy Up Ponies, and the Animal Safari jumping Castle. Rides work on a ticket system and cost between $3-8, or if you want to ride all day, you can buy an all-day pass for $45 on the day, or you can save by pre-buying them here . Which is definitely worth it if you are going to be there for a few hours or more.
Note the rides cover all age groups, but some have height or age restrictions.



There will be show bags, a pre-loved stall with toys, books & bric-a-brac and over 50 market stalls, including some amazing goods from local and artisan businesses. With jewellery, food, clothing, home made soaps, face painting, dress ups, new toys, henna tattoos, candles, home décor, skin care and so much more.

The cakes and strawberries stall is always a hit, but this year it gets better with the addition of preserves. There will be six varieties of homemade jams, pickles and chutney. The marmalade was entered into an Agricultural Show and was 'Highly Commended' for its flavour and rind. Sounds like a winner!



This Spring Fair is well known for its plant sale. A dedicated family has spent months propagating again and this year there will be a huge selection. So if you have been thinking about reviving your garden, then this is a great chance to get a bargain.



The silent auction is going to be massive, with prizes such Football guernsey signed by the team, there are a few to choose from including the Richmond Premiership Team. Two $1,000 Technika vouchers. There are auction prizes of overnight accommodation in the Yarra Valley, restaurants throughout Melbourne, entertainment vouchers, toys, beauty, party, food and wine hampers. The bands performing are Yvette Rose Q , Round About Amy , The Cover Council and Vinyl Time . They will be playing throughout the afternoon and evening.



There will be a giant dinosaur roaming around the school between 12.30-3pm and there will also be a stage performance. Yes you read right, Real Dinosaurs will be there.



But who let the dogs out?
Croydon & District Obedience Dog Club will being doing demonstrations at 1pm and 3 pm. So a great way to learn where to get started with training your pooch.



A huge range of food and drink will be available for lunch and dinner. The bbq will be fired up and some of the classes will have food stalls along with a nice mix of food vendors, so there will be something to suit everyone. There will be the ever-popular Devonshire tea, vegan, healthy and the usual carnival options, including fairy floss and ice-cream. There will even be barista made coffee, a wine and beer tent, serving Rob Dolan wines, boutique beers, cider and drinks.
