A perfect destination every day
There are four different experiences here. You can plant, eat, browse, or buy fabrics.

Nursery sign
The entry sign.

Warran Glen Nursery is more than just a place to buy plants, flowers and shrubs. It is an experience. Situated on either side of a small lake-filled gully, three bridges cross the lake, giving you a close-up view of the many ducks that call the lake home.

One of the resident ducks.

The area surrounding the lake is beautifully landscaped and it's worth a visit just to see that aspect.

Many small pots of flowers in bloom scattered around the nursery give a splash of colour wherever you look.

Flowers in pots.
One of the many flower displays.

If your needs are for pots to contain your purchases, you will find them of all shapes, sizes and colour.

Garden pots.
Very colourful pots.

A very interesting display was about a dozen grass tress of various sizes, which would be ideal in one of the afore mentioned pots.

The selection of grass trees.

I have visited here twice recently, both times on a weekday as did many other people, so it is a very popular nursery.

People in garden
Many people were wandering through the nursery.

Apart from plants, flowers and trees, a large display of garden ornaments were on sale. Such things as bird cages, bird feeders, wind chimes and hanging baskets.

Warran Glen Café.

Hours: Open seven days 9.00 am to 4.30. pm.

Located at the back of the nursery is the café. It is accessed by one of the bridges crossing the lake. The last part is quite steep and would be a challenge to wheelchairs.

The café is quite large and has expanded over the years due to its popularity. It offers indoor or outdoor dining. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick.

A large specials board complements the printed menu, combining to give a good ranges of tasty options.

I ordered pork ribs and my dining partner ordered a wagyu burger. We were both pleased with our choice.

Warran Glen Gifts.

Hours: Same as a nursery.

The entrance to the nursery and café pass through the gift shop. It has an unbelievable range of goods and you would be hard-pressed not to find a perfect gift there.

Shop interior
Part of the large range of gifts.

Children and adult clothing were surprising articles on sale. A large range of soft toys complimented many other children's items.

Lots of colourful cushions were available along with many indoor plants.

Clair's Fabrics.

Hours Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Saturday 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Clair's Fabrics is an independent business located inside the Warran Glen Nursery. It is located in a stand-alone building at one end of the lake.

Fabric sign
Clair's shop.

As soon as you enter the shop, you are visually attracted to hundreds of bolts of colourful fabrics, all neatly displayed on almost every square metre of floor space and wall cabinets.

Clair among her many fabrics.

Owner Clair's business cards describe her fabrics as "fabulous, awesome, outrageous, wonderful, bizarre and wild." A quick look around will confirm all those descriptions. If you are into doing things with fabrics a visit to Clair's is a must.

The sign at the road entrance to Warran Glen Nursery says it all. "A perfect destination every day."

Ooh! A new fabric shop in this area! Thanks Neil, I had no idea this was there. I know the nursery well, but hadn't been there for ages. That will change!
