Wonderful Warrah wants you to come & join in the fun
On Saturday 10 September 2016, Warrah Farm is holding its Spring Fair. Come along to 20 Harris Road, Dural, NSW and celebrate living, learning and growing.
The day will be full of fun things to do including a Kid's Corner, Community Stage, Buskers, Crafts, Plants, Art Exhibition, White Elephant Stall, Farm Tour, an organic BBQ and multicultural food for everyone.
Based on the principles of Rudolf Steiner, Warrah Farm is a special place doing special things for special people and all proceeds raised on the day will go towards supporting people with a disability.
This organic farm produces a comprehensive range of fresh groceries, including vegetables, dairy, and meat. Bio-dynamic vegetable seedlings, grown in their own nursery are also available for sale. Rob and the support staff who work the land believe food is our medicine. They work closely with the seasons, as whatever is in season is naturally going to nourish our body and soul, far more than food that has been grown out of season, has to travel thousands of miles or is pumped full of chemicals.
Established in the 1960's, the Spring Fair is about community, and they could do with a little help from their friends.
Volunteers Applications for volunteers are now open - you would be given a designated role, with descriptions and instructions, and your support will go a long way to helping the farm fund some special projects, one such being a fit-out of a Farm Training Room - equipped to deliver 'foodie' courses to people with a disability.
White Elephant Stall Donations Donations of pre-loved toys, household items, books, small furniture items and good quality kitchenware will be greatly received. Sorry, no electrical goods can be accepted.
Raffle Prize Donations
Local businesses generously support each year with prizes to be raffled. Warrah has deductible gift recipient status (DGR) from the Australian Taxation Office, so any financial donations are also a tax deduction.
Market Stall Holders, Buskers & Performers The more the merrier. There will be a Community Main Stage and all Volunteer Community Groups, Buskers & Entertainers will be provided a market stall space free of charge.

But don't just come for the day; come back time and time again. When you turn off busy Old Northern Road, onto Quarry Road, and then onto Harris Road, each turn delivers you to a new level of awakening. You become aware of your surroundings; the peacefulness washes over you and you start to hear the bellbird's song serenade you. The serenity lifts you to a new state of relaxation, and the wooden seat in the shade of the tree outside the door of the Farm Shop beckons you to just sit... just sit a little while and enjoy the sun on your back, the fresh country air, and the quiet escape from the city and your busy life. It'll still be there when it's time to turn and go home.
