The Warragul Farmers' Market is celebrating its first birthday on Saturday 15 November 2014 and you're invited to join in the birthday fun!
Set-up by two local mums (Erika McInerney and Sallie Jones), the Warragul Farmers' Market is held every third Saturday at Civic Park, Warragul from 8.30am until 1pm.
The inaugural event in November 2013 played host to a crowd of 3000 people. Twelve months later, the Warragul Farmers' Market is now a regular bustling community event with some 60 quality stalls offering the finest produce and speciality foods the region has to offer.
In addition celebrating local farmers and producers, the Warragul Farmers' Market also promotes local food, slow food and healthy eating.
Each market event features live music performances, organic (locally roasted) coffee and amazing ready food from Big Spoon Little Spoon.
Warragul is only an hour from Melbourne (Chadstone), is really easy to get to and the town and the region has a lot to offer day trippers.
If you've yet to discover the Warragul Farmers' Market, make note of the upcoming 1st Birthday event - there's sure to be lots of surprises in store for all the family to enjoy.
