I enjoy writing about Adelaide and its many attractions. If you think Adelaide is boring,
the problem is not with Adelaide.

A Day on the Khaki Green
The Warradale Army Barracks is home to the 9th Combat Service Support Battalion, an Army reserve logistics unit within the 9th Brigade.
On Saturday August 29 the Warradale Barracks is holding a free Open Day: A Day on the Khaki Green. They are inviting the public to come and learn about the units based there including the Army Reserve, Army Cadets and Air Force Cadets.
Enjoy a family picnic and open-air concert with free performances by the Army Band Adelaide, the Navy Band Adelaide and the Band of the 10th/27th Battalion, Royal South Australia Regiment.
If you're interested in the military, or just wonder what is behind the high fences at this army base south of Adelaide, then come along between 2pm and 7pm and join in the fun things to do.
A Day on the Khaki Green will also celebrate Legacy Week, supporting a charity that assists members of the Defence Force, veterans communities and their families.
