Event:
Paid training & part-time employment opportunities abound
On Saturday 22/10/2016 from 2pm until 7pm, Warradale Army Barracks is hosting its open day. Aptly titled 'A Day On The Khaki Green' - the public are welcome to explore Warradale Army Barracks and learn more about careers in the Australian Defence Force.

Members of the Army Reserves will provide information about employment opportunities. The Army Reserves offers part-time paid employment, which is tax-free and is the perfect opportunity to learn skills which are transferable to the civilian workforce. Army Reserves are currently recruiting for a wide range of positions - including (but not limited to) drivers, cooks, riflemen, cav scouts, artillerymen, combat engineers and medics.

The open day will be a family friendly event - visitors will have the opportunity to use the weapons simulator WTTS (Weapons Training Simulation System); take a ride in a Bushmaster (an Australian-built all-wheel drive armoured vehicle); inspect ADF vehicles; watch fire and movement displays and enjoy a live music performance from the Army Band.

Entry fee is a gold coin donation to support the RSL and ample parking is available on-site. Food stalls and kids activities will also be available.
