Warm Trees is an annual installation each July, where hundreds of volunteers of all ages knit scarves to decorate the forests at The National Arboretum. Knitters from around Canberra and around Australia each make 25cm wide, 1 metre long scarves in a variety of colours - this year the highlight is on Autumn colours of yellow, orange and red. Against the winter landscape, the bright colours of the scarves are an impressive sight. It is the largest such display in the world.

Drive around the property and look at the different displays or go for a walk along the many paths and tracks around the Arboretum. Whilst there, take in the views at Dairy Farmer Lookout, enjoy a coffee at the Arboretum café or watch the kids have a play at arguably the best playground in Canberra - Pod Playground.
