As a successful merino stud, 'Wantana' has spent the better part of four decades specialising in the production of medium/fine wool and if time permits, Bill and Sharee would love to show you around. You will have the opportunity to see lots of sheep and at certain times of the year lambing and shearing. You can walk around the farm at your own leisure or sit back and enjoy a good wine whilst taking in the serenity.

If you so desire, you can venture from the farm into Boorowa to discover the charming town famous for The Irish Woolfest. Where each year on the October long weekend the town attracts 15,000 people in a celebration of the towns world renowned merino wool and all things Irish. Whether you embrace your 'Irish roots' and visit during this iconic weekend, or escape to the country at a quieter time of year you're sure to enjoy your time in Boorowa. Take a stroll along the river walk, enjoy a coffee and bite to eat at the various cafes... there's even a great antique store or two for the discerning shopper! Additionally, you can join Sharee and her walking group on Friday and Saturday mornings for a bit of exercise.
