Wanneroo Villa Tavern

I'm a huge reading fan and can usually be found with a good book tucked under my arm. I live in the Northern Suburbs of Perth, Western Australia and love bargain hunting and Aussie history.

Whatever the weather, the Wanneroo Villa Tavern is the place to be.

Have a cold beer in the sunshine in the well placed courtyard where you can meet a range of interesting people, or a hot fulfilling meal in the more intimate setting of the adjoining restaurant, The Stringybark Steakhouse.

Listen to the great mix of old and new music pumping throughout the back areas and if your favourite footy team is on you can enjoy the camaraderie of other fans in the sports bar, Sneakers "C'arn Eagles!"

As if that wasn't enough, live musicians can be found as well! Crooners, jazz and classic guitars create a relaxing ambiance on a nightly basis.

Try their huge Aussie beef steaks, Kangaroo dishes and amazing desserts and kids eat free on Tuesdays!

Great family fun all round with weekly deals and activities like Quiz Nights and the Carnivore Hall of Fame Challenge; can you eat an 800g Graziers Rump Steak and get your name on the board? Check out their website for more details.

One of my favourite places to go, with iconic Australian decor and themes. It's the 'true blue' thing to do!
