Enjoy folk music night in northern suburbs
The WA Folk Federation and the Wanneroo Folk Club present a night of folk music on Friday 12 July at the Dorchester Community Centre in Dorchester Rd Warwick.
The performances start at 8pm with Mr Sour and the Strands, being Chris Kotchie and Isabelle Lemon as a duo. They combine folk, acoustic and original sounds using guitar, ukulele, violin and mandolin with vocals. They have performed regularly throughout the state.
Also performing is Lauren Arthur, an emerging singer and songwriter from Northam studying contemporary double/electric bass. She has recorded a demo of original songs and performed regular gigs at the Oxford Hotel and other venues. She will be supported by John McNair and Keith Anthonisz.
Entry is $10 or $8 for WA folk club members.
The WA Folk Federation invites musicians to play a few songs in between sets at the club.
