Kids in the Kitchen
The ever popular hair salon
Early childhood studies stress the importance of play and imaginative play allows children to explore and learn. Wannabees Family Playtown opens up an exciting world for children to pretend to be all the jobs they see around them.
Shopping in the Supermarket
Not only is there plenty of opportunity to dress up, but the scene is also set to act as police, firemen, doctors, dentists, hairdressers and so much more.
Supermarket, complete with trolleys and aisles
There's no gender stereotyping here. Just roam the village and grab a costume. It is interesting to watch the same little girls busy in the beauty parlour, later don hard hats and build on the construction site.

Maternity Ward
Stopping at the ATM, just like Mum & Dad
Watch group play in the restaurant, where kids will just join in as customers, seating themselves at little tables, when they see other children busy in the kitchen.
There's a post office and a bank - even with an ATM. It's very easy to replicate all the scenarios they see each week.

Learn who to call in a fire
My doll crazy daughter has less interest in the maternity ward of the hospital and heads straight to the Fire Station to climb the ladder and slide down the poll. Wannabees brings out different interests, as all the rooms are enticing, and offer different aspects of play. I need to add, I love the look on the children's faces when they realise they're using real water to put out the fire!
In the same way the children's parties have a host, the casual visit kids have a dedicated host that leads them through the rooms and activities, including newsreading on TV and green screen room as well as a fashion parade and disco. So don't worry if you're turning up by yourself. It won't take long to find a friend.

Cops & Robbers
A quiet area for really little ones
We've been going for years and the novelty still hasn't worn off. So make a day of it and enjoy lunch at the reasonably priced café. Bring a friend, or book a party.
The question is, what do you Wannabee?
