Proudly hosted by Maroochydore State High School's Year 12 Tourism students, the Wanderlust Food and Drinks Festival is planning a fabulous showcasing of the best beer, cider and spirits from the Sunshine Coast region. Carefully paired with food created from all locally sourced ingredients, the Year 12 Tourism students have collaborated with local food and drinks manufacturers to ensure that festival foodie lovers will enjoy the absolute best that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

The Wanderlust Food and Drinks Festival will be accessible via a gold coin donation (please see registration link below), with the addition of some raffles' proceeds to go to OzHarvest.



OzHarvest was founded in 2004 by Ronni Kahn AO, who couldn't believe the huge volume of food that was going to waste. OzHarvest rapidly grew to become Australia's leading food rescue organisation, saving surplus food from ending up in landfill and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. OzHarvest are committed to halving food waste by 2030, inspiring and influencing others to do the same and transforming lives through education.



On the 14 August 2014 OzHarvest Sunshine Coast and Gympie did their very first food delivery on the Sunshine Coast. Today, in 2022 OzHarvest Sunshine Coast and Gympie are celebrating eight years of rescuing and redistributing surplus food to locals in need. OzHarvest Sunshine Coast and Gympie also celebrate a second major milestone this year, surpassing the two million meal mark. That equates to 700 tonnes of food that has been redistributed over the years to local charities, schools, churches and community groups who help those who are food insecure.



The Wanderlust Food and Drinks Festival event's proceeds will be donated to the very worthy OzHarvest charity organisation.
