Don't be fooled into thinking that Walt Disney World is just another theme park. This resort is the combination of multiple theme parks, water parks, and hotels, that all help bring the magic of Disney alive. Kids of all ages will find something they love, whether it is thrill seeking roller coasters or just meeting their favourite Disney friends.

Mickey, Minnie, the Disney Princesses, and all of your other favourite Disney characters call Disney World home. Before you head to the park, or as soon as you arrive, buy your kids an autograph book. They'll be able to meet these loveable friends, and have a lasting reminder of their time at Disney World. Make sure you bring along a camera, because you'll want to take lots of pictures too.

Disney World is split into four theme parks and two water parks. The most well known would have to be the Magic Kingdom. This is where the Disney magic starts. From your start at Main Street USA you'll discover all aspects of Disney. Here you'll find the famed 'Its a Small World' ride, and the epic Cinderella's castle. There are plenty of rides and restaurants to enjoy, and some amazing parades and shows that change throughout the year. If you have younger children, this is likely to be their favourite park.

Epcot, one of the other theme parks, takes you on a trip around the world, and then transports you to the future. You can travel to ancient civilisations, and countries like Japan, Norway, Morocco, Canada, China, and more. There are fun science experiments to take part in, and amazing innovations to learn all about. See some of the marvels that the world has created.

Disney's Hollywood Studios is where you'll find an array of fun shows to delight you, as you get behind the scenes on some of your favourite movies. From exploring the set of Honey I Shrunk the Kids, to a live show of Indiana Jones. There is plenty of fun an excitement to see here.

In the Animal Kingdom you can go on Safari, or learn about Dinosaurs. You'll learn about all animals, big and small, living and extinct, and have a great time doing it. Go on an palaeontology dig and discover a dinosaur or two, or try out some of the fun rides that also give you a great view of the park.

In the hot Summer months you'll be glad to have a ticket to the two Disney water parks. You won't catch chill at Blizzard Beach, but you'll get to have fun on chairlifts, faux ice slopes, and you can try your hand at balancing on breakaway ice blocks. Typhoon Lagoon has also got a great range of water-slides to enjoy, and pools to relax in. You can even take surfing lessons to improve your moves.

There is so much to do at Disney World. You'll never run out of restaurants to eat at, and fun souvenirs to buy. To make sure you get the most of your trip, try checking out some of the Disney Accommodation. This ranges from luxury hotels, to laid back Disney themed rooms. Ticket prices and hotel packages vary throughout the year, so to get the best prices head to the website.
