Wallaroo, South Australia, has some of the widest, white, powdery, sandy beaches and stretches of shallow water for wading that you will ever encounter. This is a view from the walkway above pragmatically named Office Beach (harking back to Wallaroo's importance in international shipping and industry). We see the permanent shade-sails on the beach for picnicking or lounging under, while in the distance is a ship in port and the Tugboat responsible for helping her dock safely, reminding us that Wallaroo is still a regular international import/export, deep channel sea port for our grain industry.
