The stay at the
Wall Street Inn was great! The location is on Wall Street, so right on Batery Park, from where all ferries to the attractions start and near a subway. The sights of South Manhattan are all within walking distance with the subway station around the corner.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Manhattan, close to Wall Street with good access to a broad rail network. There, we came across the Wall Street Inn. We liked the location and a style very much.
From the hotel, you can get everywhere you want to see and experience in New York. There are a number of small bars, cafes and pubs where visitors can relax after a long day in NYC visit.

The room was much larger than we have expected given the price and location. It was well equipped (TV, telephone, alarm clock, air conditioning, fridge, USB ports, safe, hairdryer, iron & ironing board) and very clean and well maintained. The decor is not very modern, but fits the style of the hotel and is not worn but in good condition. The bed was soft and comfortable and we slept very well.

Everything was there, from shower gel to towels, everything we needed. Unfortunately, our stay occured while a renovation of the facade was in progress, so a little light came into the room, but we were not much there anyway.
The staff are super friendly, everything was very well prepared and we always had a contact around the clock.

Our breakfasts were classically simple, typically American or Continental: toast, bagels, sweet pastries, waffles, croissant, jam, peanut butter, margarine, butter, cereal, cereals, eggs, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice and a little fresh fruit. Nothing special, but adequate. If something was empty, you sometimes had to wait a bit longer, but it was always refilled.
There is a gym, which we did not use.
