Adapted from the award-winning BBC series, Walking with Dinosaurs is a $20,000,000 arena spectacle that makes you travel through time, back to the Mesozoic era, where dinosaurs existed.
Renowned scientists, designers and engineers have worked together to bring life to these ancient monsters, that have longed fascinated children and elders. With the perfect background music and lights, the public gets a live experience of the return of the dinosaurs.
Captivating and enthralling, the show is the closest you can come to view the dinosaurs and make eye contact with them. Capture the glint of their eyes, feel the roughness of their skins and let their roar ripple through your body till your hair stand on their ends!
Performed in two acts with an intermission, the live theatrical show covers our good old Earth's history during prehistoric time, from the continental drift, to the evolution of species and the climate changes that led eventually to the extinction of the dinosaurs.
Huxley, the palaeontologist, is on stage to guide you through the 200 million year old journey, describing the reptiles, their habitat, and climate changes.
The dinosaurs are introduced according to the timeline that they existed, including, the Plateosaurus and the Lilienteraus from the Triassic period followed by the Allosaurus and the Stegosaurus from the Jurassic period and the Torosaurus and Utahraptor from the Cretaceous period.
Finally, the great Tyrannosauraus Rex is introduced, with much applause from the public. With the fiercest roar and looming over the audience with its huge mouth wide open, it has forged its reputation as the dinosaur of the show and is much awaited by the public.
As the story unfolds, the audience discovers a new live experience of the 200 million year domination of life on earth, the fight for survival as mother TRex tries to protect her siblings, fight for food, forests on fire, erupting volcanoes, earthquakes and comets impacting the earth.
