Walking Tour of Glenthorne National Park with Minister David Speirs

On Saturday the 25th of September 2021, you have the opportunity to join Minister David Speirs for a walking tour of one of South Australia's newest national parks. Glenthorne National Park is located approximately 20 kilometres south of Adelaide on Majors Road in O'Halloran Hill.

The historic 208-hectare Glenthorne property is currently being revitalised into an environmental and recreational precinct for the whole community. Once completed, there will be a nature play space, picnic area, wetland, camping facilities and walking trails.

Departing Glenthorne Ranger Station at 1:30 pm, the walking tour will cover a distance of about five kilometres along a temporary loop trail. Plenty of time has been allocated for questions and answers.

There is no cost associated with this walk, however, bookings are required and can be made via the Nature Festival website. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
