Do you love hiking? Or even just going for a walk anywhere in our beautiful state? April usually means that the cooler Autumn weather has arrived and heralds the 'official' start of the South Australian hiking season. A good way to kick it off is to hike on over to the Walking SA Hiking Expo at Belair National Park on Sunday the 11th April 2021.

Walking SA is South Australia's peak not-for-profit body that leads, supports, and promotes all forms of walking in South Australia. The annual Walking SA Hiking Expo is a great way for South Aussies to discover new places to explore and their hiking trails, find a group to hike with, and check out all the best hiking gear available.

There'll be over 30 exhibitors with everything from walking tours, destinations, and maps. Walking clubs will be there to have a chat and Adelaide's best outdoor retailers will be on hand to showcase their hiking gear. New to the event for 2021 will be the bushwalking equipment and experience demonstration stage.

Want to get active? There'll be a range of guided hikes for everyone. From 45 minute jaunts to 3 hour explorations, there'll be something for everyone including accessible and kid-friendly walks.

You can choose from the available walks on the day - there'll be a walk departing every ten minutes from 9.20 am to 12.20 pm. However, if you want to secure your place in a particular walk then it's strongly advised to register online for just $5 per person or $10 per family. Details of the walks will be available online in March 2021.

The will be held at the Main Oval in Belair National Park on Sunday the 11th of April 2021. It runs from 9 am to 2 pm. Entry is free. Check the website for all the latest info as it happens .
