Walking. It's something we do but don't often think about. But walking can give you access to amazing places. Whether it's exploring your own neighborhood, uncovering hidden street art in the CBD or discovering stunning views from a mountain top, your own two feet can open up worlds of possibility. You can celebrate all forms of walking with Walking SA at the Walking Expo at Rymill Park on Sunday 6th April.

It doesn't matter if you're a novice in the walking stakes or a seasoned professional, there will be some great activities for walkers of all fitness levels and abilities. A real highlight will be the free guided Discovery Walks throughout Adelaide City including the picturesque Adelaide Parklands, Botanic Gardens and the CBD. What could be better on an Adelaide autumn day?

If you're interested in taking your walking to the next level you can talk to representatives of local outdoor stores, who will be showcasing the latest walking gear. You can also check out the pre-loved walking gear and maybe grab a bargain from the Friends of the Heysen Trail or get some tips and advice or have your walking questions answered by representatives from local walking clubs and tour operators.

Walking SA is the peak body representing bushwalkers in South Australia. They organise public walking events, develop and maintain walking tracks, promote new walking opportunities and provide information. You can find out all about them on their website here or check out their Facebook page here .

Walking is a great way to be active and experience the outdoors, it doesn't matter whether you stride, shuffle, ramble, waddle, saunter, trudge or plod. Just come and join in the celebrations with Walking SA on Sunday 6th April from 10am to 3pm at Rymill Park at the corner of East Terrace and Bartels Avenue.

Remember, walking means you're just two feet away from some of the best places in South Australia.
