Three-kilometre walk to support those living with dementia
Statistics state that in Australia more than 400,000 people live with dementia every day and of those people approximately 55% are women. If one in ten people over the age of 65 have dementia, it is a scary thought as we each near towards that age. I have heard many people say, "I must be getting dementia, I'm forgetting things"; however, medical advice is best sought for any self-analysing doubts will only cause concern and anxiety.

The Moreton Bay Dementia Alliance, Brisbane North PHN, HammondCare, Encircle Redcliffe Neighbourhood Centre and MemBo Noticeboard are asking you to support their "Walk With Me" fundraiser to raise awareness and funds to create a dementia friendly Redcliffe and Moreton Bay.
