It's the future we get a glimpse of at #WalkTogether, as we gather in a visible demonstration of who we can be. #1634024675238_9a0fb760_c470 ">Walk Together is Welcoming Australia's annual national celebration of Australia's diversity, designed as a tangible expression of the welcoming, fair and compassionate society we are committed to building.In its tenth year, Walk Together will return to the streets with a celebration of diversity and a loud declaration that thousands of Australians believe we can become a nation known for our compassion, generosity and welcome.Held on Saturday 10th September, from 1 to 3 pm at Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga, you are invited to join this celebration of our shared humanity, regardless of your background, culture or faith.Walk route is along King William Road, commencing and returning to Victoria Square. During the afternoon, you will also enjoy music, food and beverage vendors, dance performances, speeches, activities for kids (and adults!) and more! Together we'll celebrate the places #WhereWeBelongFor the first time in Australia, #1634024675238_9a0fb760_c470 ">Welcoming Week will also take place from September 9-18.What started as a small collection of events in U.S. communities in 2021 has since expanded to reach more than 400 events annually across the world, signalling the broad commitment to welcoming values.
