Event:
Come together to walk and support refugees and immigrants
Welcome to Australia is an organisation formed to send a positive message about multiculturalism in Australia and extend a welcome to visitors, migrants and refugees who come here. Their next major event is Walk Together where they hope that Australians of diverse backgrounds will come together to create a welcoming environment.

The walk is a free public event held at 11 am on October 31 all around Australia. In Melbourne the walk will go from the State Library in Swanston St to Federation Square.

Rather than a protest, the walk should be seen a celebration of multicultural Australia and a welcome party. If you believe in a multicultural Australia and believe that Australia should welcome migrants and refugees, then, be there to join the walk.
