Walk the Central Loop of Lake Burley Griffin for MND
Motor Neurone Disease is a nervous system disease that weakens muscles and impacts physical function. At this stage, there is no cure. On 25th June, join the "Walk to d'Feet MND" on Lake Burley Griffin to raise funds and awareness for this disease. The Walk is approximately 5.5km and is wheelchair, stroller and dogs on lead friendly. The walk will commence at 10am from Peace Park adjacent to the National Library. This year the walk will follow the Central Loop of Lake Burley Griffin by crossing over Commonwealth Bridge, walking on the other side of the lake and then returning back to the start via Kings Avenue Bridge.
See the MND website for details and register online to walk. T-shirts are available as part of your registration fee if you register before 18th June. They can then be picked up on the day.
