Walking to help give life and end abandonment
Walk the Wall is a worldwide walkathon event to help raise funds for abandoned and disabled children in China. The goal is to raise a total of USD500,000. This global movement is celebrating its tenth year this year, so why not gather ten of your friends and family and participate in it. A series of five to ten kilometre walks is being held in multiple cities around the world.
In Adelaide, the event will be held on Saturday the 2nd of September 2017. Registrations open at 9am with the walk beginning at 9.30am from the northwest corner of Wattle Reserve at Hove. You can head to their website to put your name down either as an individual or as a team if you are interested in participating. Once registered, just follow the instructions on screen to easily create your own customised fundraising page to get started.
