Animals give many people much joy, whether they be wild animals, in a zoo or domestic animals. For this event, you will be able to walk on the wild side and get up close and personal with many different animals. Some will be big, others small, clawed or pawed and you can see them all on this fun day.
The event is now in its third year and whether you are an animal owner or an animal lover, this is a day for you, your family and friends. There will be something for everyone and this is one of those events where you can even bring your fur babies along. The only stipulation is that the dogs are friendly and they must be on a leash at all times. Entry to the event is free and no bookings are required.
The event will be held on Saturday 6th April 2019, from 10.00 am till 1.00 pm at the Shire of Dardanup, 1 Council Drive, Dardanup. Dardanup is just 150 km south of Perth and closer if you live south of the river. If you have time, why not visit Gnomesville which is nearby and fascinating!
The event features the following:
• Animal-related market stalls.
• Hilarious dog races and games! Is your dog the one that will be crowned the fastest sausage eater in the south-west? Once again, as long as your dog is friendly, he/she is welcome to take part in the games.
• Learn about Australian wildlife - visit one of the many fascinating displays.
• You can get up close and personal with beautiful Australian birds of prey.
• Meet a real koala.
• Hold a python.
• Jungle themed bouncy castle.
• Get your pet photographed for free by a professional photographer.
• Get your pooch washed for FREE! This service will be on a first come first served.
• Scrumptious sausage sizzle.
• Food van, an ice-cream van and coffee van.
• And so much more.
There will also be a pet and owner selfie competition. Here you could win a $150 voucher to South West Pets, Bunbury! Do you have an unbreakable bond with your pet? If so, then read on.
