Celebrate the women in your life and walk for women's cancers. It's a fact: 1 in 6 women will be diagnosed with a women's cancer by the age of 85 but more than 49,600 Queensland women are alive today after a diagnosis of a women's cancer in the past 25 years.
Show your support and come help celebrate in a sea of pink on Saturday 8th September by registering your interest now. Starting at the Alex Surf Club you can show your support by walking either a 3km or 8km circuit. Over 700 participants come together to show their support for research, prevention programs and patient support services for the Cancer Council Queensland to help beat cancer in women.
Everyone is welcome to walk in the fight against Women's cancers
But it's not limited to just women. Men and children are welcome and encouraged to come along to show their love and support for the wellbeing of all women.
Since its inception in 2004 by local Sunshine Coast woman, Cassandra Munson, the walk has attracted thousands of participants who come together to unite, celebrate and remember those affected by women's cancers.
Give hope to the many Queensland Women with cancer
