Wakefield Press is a leading independent publishing company based in Adelaide. Their list of book titles is strongly focused on South Australia, and they support and have strong partnerships with many leading cultural organisations locally.
A recent partnership with the History Trust of South Australia allows you to make a tax-deductible donation towards approved Wakefield Press history projects. Other partnerships exist with all three major universities in SA, the Botanic Gardens, the State Opera of South Australia, and Carrick Hill to name just a few.

On the weekend of November 10-11 the Wakefield Press Spring Book Sale will make it easier for everyone to support South Australian writers. At this free event, you will find tons of great bargains including their ever popular 3 for 2 deal (cheapest book is free).
During the Wakefield Press Spring Book Sale, there will be a book launch by ABC Adelaide's David Bevan kicking off the festivities on Sunday. At 11.30 am on Sunday, David will be launching Foundational Fictions in South Australian History edited by Carolyn Collins and Paul Sendziuk.
If you would like to bring the kids along to the book sale, they are welcome too. There's a kids' corner with some lucky dips to entertain any children while you browse for your bargains.
The huge Wakefield Press Spring Book Sale is a free event, running on Saturday 10 November and Sunday 11 November from 11.30 am to 5.00 pm. The sale is being held at the Wakefield Press head office at Mile End, just outside Adelaide.
Be early to catch the best bargains, but you will have a choice of books from their full range including new titles all weekend. Happy hunting!
