Now at Mile End 16 Rose St
On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October, from 10 am to 4 pm, Wakefield Press have their annual Spring Book Sale.

Just so you are sure, they used to be in Kent Town, but they relocated a couple of years ago to 16 Rose St Mile End.

Art, history, politics, fiction, food: whatever you're interested in, they have plenty of books on offer. One thing that I love about Wakefield Press is their specials - including three books for the price of two on all of their books, not just run outs, (with the cheapest of the three books free) and if you spend over $75, they'll give you a free library bag to carry them home.

The common attractants are there; a door prize, sizzling sausages to distract you, and for the children, a colouring-in competition.

They invite you to bring the kids and even the dog. I am looking forward to it. Nothing better than a few new books to browse, and a splendid time to get some early Christmas presents.

Yes its definitely Mile End, but its confusing, its near Thebarton off James Congdon Drive. Near the Ice Arena or Stepney Salvage.
