The secret is out, Wake Me Up Espresso is seriously good
Do you want to know what the best thing about living in 2015 is?

You don't have to live in Italy to enjoy a great cup of coffee.
Brisbane is buzzing with great places to caffeinate and fortunately there's no longer the need to fight the city traffic to get there.

I recently discovered a secret Espresso bar in the unassuming south side suburb of Slacks Creek. It's suitably called Wake me up! This coffeehouse serves a special blend made by Delamauta that really hits the spot.

The atmosphere the café owner Tommy has created is unique in the very best way.

When you arrive the biggest decision you will have to make is where to sit. There's a choice of a long communal table made of hardwood sleepers or inviting sofas surrounding rustic coffee tables.

You will find its the perfect (free Wifi) environment to read an eBook, write your next novel or do like in the 1990s and read the Newspaper the old fashion way.

Everyone is welcome, nay, encouraged to share their musical talents on the piano or pick up a guitar and join the locals for a jam session.

Tommy has really thought of everything to ensure you enjoy your coffee time at this perfectly quirky café.

This family friendly café is equipped with a rainbow of colouring pencils for your little ones, and for the not so little, there is FIFA on PS4.

It's good idea to 'Like' their Facebook page as it will keep you posted on all upcoming jam sessions with local talent and various events.

Also be sure you check in with 'Rewardle' at the counter to earn points towards a free coffee!

As it's essentially an Espresso bar the food menu consists mainly of an assortment cookies, paleo bars and brownies.

With plans to expand the food offering in the very near future, this place is certainly not going to be a well-kept secret for much longer.
