One evening seven strangers find themselves in a bar in Soho, that is Soho London rather than New York's counterpart. Each of them has their own story of what has brought them to the West End establishment, ranging from the coincidental to the more purposeful.

The characters' tales are broken up into bite-size monologues, delivered between alternating performers. This tact works well as it creates intrigue as to where their stories are heading, as not all of them follow the path that you might be expecting.



With a total running time of 45 minutes, Waiting in Soho efficiently and effectively tells the audience what they need to know about each of the strangers rather than getting bogged down in too much detailed dialogue. And with such a short duration, isn't it worth taking the chance on this fringe play?
