This makes Chuck Norris look like a pussy cat.

What do you think of when someone says karate? Ninjas? The Karate Kid? Bruce Lee? If you want to learn how to do an epic flying sidekick like one of the pros, a great place to start is with the Western Australian Institute of Martial Arts, or if that's too hard to say, WAIMA.
WAIMA have dojos in Greenwood, Currambine and their newest dojo in Myaree opened on the 21st of July.

I trained with WAIMA for five years and made it all the way to brown belt! Although I don't think I would have been able to get that far without the help of my instructors. All of the instructors at WAIMA have trained for years to be as skilled as they are, so don't expect to be a master of karate after your first day. But if you practice hard and listen to all the amazing instructors who will be helping you along the way, you could become an instructor yourself!

One of the best things about WAIMA is that, no matter what your age or level of experience, there will always be something for you to learn. In my time with WAIMA, I not only learned to defend myself, I also gained confidence in myself and respect for the people around me.

I also met some of the most passionate, brave and generally awesome people I have ever known.

Team building time is not only in the dojo. Regular visits to various places like the Great Escape or the beach insure everyone has the maximum amount of fun.
