Waikerie Markets might be just what you are looking for.
Generally held on the first Saturday of each month, the Waikerie Markets will kick off 2021 with a special market on Saturday 16 January 2021 commencing at 4 pm. This twilight market will include a family movie held on the Waikerie Riverfront, Leonard Norman Drive, Waikerie.

Unless otherwise advertised markets are located on the Civic Centre Lawns, Dowling Street, Waikerie and are scheduled for 2021 on:
16 January 4 pm to 8 pm (twilight market with family movie on Waikerie Riverfront)
6 February 4.30 pm to 8 pm (twilight market on Civic Lawns)
6 March 9 am to 1.30 pm
3 April 9 am to 1.30 pm
1 May 9 am to 2 pm (Rock 'n Roll Festival)
5 June 9 am to 2 pm (Riverland West Citrus Fest
3 July 9 am to 1.30 pm
7 August 9 am to 1.30 pm
4 September 9 am to 1.30 pm
2 October 4 pm to 8 pm (twilight market on Waikerie Riverfront)

4 December 9 am to 1.30 pm (Christmas Market on Waikerie Riverfront)

Situated right on the River Murray, Waikerie is a lovely Riverland town with a wealth of fun activities to fill your weekend. Take a weekend away from the city rush and enjoy the Bird Watcher's Trail and Scenic Loops or visit one or more of the many fantastic food and wine venues, when you are not at the market of course! Why not hire a houseboat and spend the weekend cruising the river?
Come along and do some shopping with clothes, bags, shoes, cards, jewellery, dream catchers, sweets, candles, fruit and vegetables, jams, dried fruit and plants all available. Once you are finished shopping grab some dinner from the food trucks with BBQ, Thai food, coffee and more available before you settle down to watch the movie. Keep the little ones entertained in the playground or water park.
