The Spring Fair is the school's major fundraiser, with funds sought for the purchase and installation of air-conditioning for all the classrooms.
Throughout the morning and afternoon, there will be heaps of things to see, do and enjoy for all ages - from all the traditional fair favourites to new and exciting attractions and entertainment!
Some of the highlights to look forward to include rides, a petting zoo, a dunking machine, the 0-5 obstacle course, the Cybernauts Virtual Reality Experience and the always popular bouncy castle! There will also be an art gallery, bustling market stalls, a second-hand bookstall, an international food market, Devonshire Tea, a homemade cake stall, chocolate toss, tombola, raffles and a BBQ.
Eventgoers will be entertained by kids' entertainer, Mr Tom Foolery, performers from Circus Akimbo and local dance troupes.
Wahroonga Public School's principal, Mr Tom Moth, will be making an appearance dressed as the school mascot, Kooki, and may even be up for a dunking in the dunking machine!
Plus with over 80 items up for grabs, the Wahroonga Public School Spring Fair Silent Auction is sure to be a hit. From Animal Farm passes and beauty and hair care treatments, to a Virtual Reality Head Set, pool cleaner and painting to professional photography and paintball, the whole family… and family pet, can be groomed, pampered, entertained and photographed.
September 9 is also Ku-ring-gai Municipal Council Election Day and polling booths will open from 8am to 6pm.
Don't miss the Wahroonga Public School Spring Fair this Saturday from 10am!
