Great wine, good food and fun times return to Wahroonga Park

The 6th annual Wahroonga Food Wine Festival returns to Wahroonga Park, Wahroonga on Sunday 28 October 2018, 10:30am - 5pm.

Entry is FREE and all are welcome to enjoy a fun-filled day tasting and buying premium and award-winning wines, meeting winemakers and perusing a huge selection of gourmet food stalls offering a variety of international and Australian cuisines.

This year's showcase features a carefully selected range of 30 exquisite wineries from NSW and around Australia. You can also explore the new Aperol Spritz Lounge Bar which will be serving up deliciously fresh Sydney Rock oysters straight from Ralson Bros Oysters situated on the Clyde River at Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast. Complement your oysters with a signature spring cocktail, a refreshing Aperol Spritz made with Riccadonna Prosecco - what a way to spend a beautiful spring day!

Chill out and unwind in the Modus Operandi Craft Beer Garden Bar and sample the full Modus Operandi Brewing range operated by local Northern Beaches couple, Grant and Jaz Wearin. One unmissable highlight is their award-winning local Mona Vale brews, fresh from taking out Champion Independent Brewery at the recent Independent Brewers Awards. Other craft beer offerings also include Six Strings Brewing Co and The Welder's Dog Brewery.

This year's culinary line-up is equally exciting with delicious signature dishes from the likes of Jimmy Liks, Berlin Bangers, French Cheese, delicious Sofrito Paella, FigJam Creperie, Gnocchi Gnocchi, the Fired-Up Smoker and Arepa Oz. There will also be a range of cheese platters, coffee brews and Goose on the Loose gourmet foods. For dessert, Amsterdam Pancakes and Serendipity Ice Cream will again present their range of premium ice creams. Alexander Roastery for delicious coffee.

Produce market stalls will once again line the flowerbeds and walkways offering a variety of products including olives from Pukara Estate Olive Oils, Original Smoke & Spice Co, Pudding Lane, Spice Craft, Grumpy Ginger Beer, Persian Nougat, Cacaoette hard crafted chocolate, MaDhouse Beef Jerky, Honey Haven Mudgee honey products, Florist Ipsen Botanica, Yum Thai Juice Bar, Choux Patisserie, Tar 10, Humbada, Signature Sauces, Porters Produce, Linda's original sweet chili relish, Milnes of Mudgee, Fig Tree Co, Hunter Valley Cheese, puddings from Pudding Lane and more, so buy your shopping basket from the 'Market Basket' and enjoy what our market has to offer.

Adding to the vibrant community atmosphere is live music on the rotunda stage with performances by talented local school and contemporary musicians and entertainers. There will also be activities for the children, including inflatable rides and an animal petting farm from the Dural.

Wahroonga Food Wine Festival is FREE and all ages are welcome. Wine tasting glasses and ticket packages (starting at $20) are available for sale from the Tasting Ticket Marquee.
