Central NSW isn't exactly known for its top quality coffee. Once you leave the coast, many a coffee lover groans at the prospect of trying to locate a drinkable brew. Even a big inland city like Wagga doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Fear no more. Yesterday, on my way through Wagga, I learnt the locals little secret. Premium Coffee Roasters on Trail Street does one thing and one thing only - delicious coffee.

So, I'm throwing it open to the locals. What other little coffee gems have you been hiding from us city folk when we come to visit?

I agree with trail st, but a new one has opened at 84 fitzmaurice st called 'Old Empire Tea Rooms' which as the name states has a great range of teas and excellent coffee. It's a great, quirky place with character and friendly service, which reminds me of Melbourne and places in Europe.

I'm a big "Cache" fan. Recently moved to bigger premises with central fire surrounded by couches. Fabulous atmosphere. Lovely staff and a beautiful barista. Gets pretty busy so the food must be great but I go daily for the coffee and the friendly staff!
