Delicious waffles ready to eat in fifteen minutes
Being a long term owner of a waffle machine I have tried and tested many a waffle recipes. Some have been very disappointing and others rise to the occasion. This recipe has been the most successful and is nice and easy, so you will be eating your delicious waffles in under 15 minutes.

2 eggs, 2 cups of milk, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 2 cups of self raising flour , 1 tablespoon of melted butter, pinch of salt

Waffle wizard tip Turn your waffle iron on whilst you are making the mixture. This ensures that once the mixture is made you can start cooking your waffles up and begin devouring them faster.

Step 1

Use a small/medium mixing bowl and separate the egg whites into the bowl and put the yolks into a small bowl. Whisk up the egg whites until they're white and fluffy.

Step 2

Add the 2 cups of milk, 2 egg yolks, 1 tablespoon of melted butter and 2 teaspoons of sugar to the whisked egg whites. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.

Step 3

Add the dry ingredients, 2 cups of self raising flour and a pinch of salt, to the mixture. Fold the flour into the mixture and don't stir all of the lumps out. Your mixture is now ready.

Step 4

Spray some oil onto your waffle iron and now you are ready to start dishing out the mixture to create your delicious waffles.

Best served with ice cream, maple or caramel sauce and love.

The mixture is fine to be kept in the fridge and used for the next couple of days. Don't be afraid to have waffles for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
