What's the difference?
Belgian Liege Waffles are made from sweet and tough dough with special sugar imported from Europe, that caramelizes around the waffle leaving it crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Liege waffles can be served plain, but are much more tasty with a topping of ice cream, fruits, and nuts. Yum!
Vietnamese Pandan Waffle are made from batter mixed with coconut milk and 'Pandan' flavouring giving the waffle an indulging Asian traditional taste. Pandan Waffles are crispy on the outside and cakey on the inside. These taste best served with butter, kaya or salted caramel gelato.

Stroop Waffles , also known as syrup waffles, which originated from Netherlands. These are very thin, cut in half with hot syrup (chocolate or caramel) spread in between. Best enjoyed with a strong coffee.
American Waffles come in two varieties - sweet or savoury. The former filled with fresh fruit, and the latter with ham and cheese filling. Savory waffles are great as a breakfast meal served with eggs, mushroom, and sausages.
