I'm a blogger living in Wollongong, NSW Australia. I enjoy travelling and exploring my hometown.

A valley deemed to be the grand canyon of Jordan, Wadi Mujib has walls 1000 metres high with a very windy road to get down and out on.

This sandstone canyon is an amazing piece of nature where they have a reservoir at one end and grow vegetables and olives at the other end all in the low part of the valley.

They have built a lookout at one end where you can see the whole canyon. It is quite remarkable and gobsmacking to see that in an area where I would assume would be filled with water, they have a village and farms and go about life as if they were not in a canyon.
