WAAPA in the Park is returning in 2019 for another night of toe-tapping, finger-snapping fun. An annual tradition of the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts ever since 2007, WAAPA in the Park is a FREE jazz concert performed by some of the best musicians that WAAPA has to offer.
WAAPA in the Park will be held this year on Saturday, 23 March in Ron Stone Park in Mt Lawley from 7pm to 9pm. Bring along a blanket and some folding chairs and be wowed by some top-notch musical talent as they perform a collection of rock and funk and soul and r 'n' b classics. There will be food trucks available on site during the event.
WAAPA in the Park is being directed this year by Mike Eastman, Victoria Newton, Carrie Pereira and Chris Tarr. WAAPA in the Park always manages to draw a huge crowd every year. It is one of WAAPA's most popular family-friendly events.
