WA Video Game Championship for Kids 2017

Home > Perth > Community Events | Kids | Lists | Technology

TechCamps4Kids will be hosting the 2nd WA Video Game Championships for kids. This year event is planned to be better than last year, with more prizes and awards.

Kids age 6 to 17 can enter their video game into the championship using any platform which includes ClickTeam Fusion, Scratch, Game Maker, etc. With this year's Science theme based on 'Future Earth', I can only imagine a host of game with space as the concept.

The WA Video Game Championships is part of this year's Science Week. It will be held at the Guildford Grammar School, with loads of parking for parents, friends and family.

Registration and entry to the event is free. There are some computers that can be used on the day, however participants can bring their own devices to display their games.

If you have a budding video game enthusiast in your household, why not enter them into this year's WA Video Game Championships.
