The WA Cider & Pork Festival returns from the 2nd March to the 5th March, 2018. Come along and buy ice cold drinks on tap and hot food off the grill.

Held at Elizabeth Quay, the event will bring together some of Perth's top chefs, serving up their versions of pork specialities, as well as top cider producers from around Western Australia, the Eastern States and beyond.

In fact, there will be 18 Australian and International cider producers exhibiting at the festival. Cider is a drink that has been around for as long as apple orchards in Australia and in the last ten or so years, it has become popular again. WA can now claim to have some of the best craft ciders and most popular distilleries in the country.

At the festival, you can buy a $30 tasting card and walk around Elizabeth Quay, visiting each exhibitor and tasting ciders as you go. Being at Elizabeth Quays, you can then choose where to sit and enjoy your drinks and food.

Some of the cider makers attending this festival include Cheeky Monkey, RunAmuk Cider Co, Matsos, Naked Apple Cider, The Cidery and more.

If you do not drink/like cider, there are still plenty of options for the non-cider drinkers, including specialty beer producers and a cocktail bar. Wines and soft drinks will also be available at the festival.

As the saying goes, get some pork on your fork and in pork, we get one of our favourite foods, like bacon, pork belly, pork sausages, delectable pork crackling, as well as the now popular pulled pork! At the festival, you can enjoy a pulled pork burger, slow-cooked pork ribs, or a crispy rasher of bacon cooked to perfection. Whether smoked, grilled or simmered slowly, the Cider & Pork Festival will have your favourite pork dish on offer.

The WA Cider & Pork Festival celebrates all things pork with their range of chefs as well as food trucks and the finest pork producers this side of the Black Stump. And naturally, all of the pork at the WA Cider & Pork Festival& #8203 ; is from ethical free range producers.

You can also buy a $30 Pork Tasting card and get six tastings from any of the food stalls!

Mane Liquor will be running Cidery Battles for you to attend from Friday to Sunday to help you explore the world of cider, from the boutique independents to the classics. While the children can enjoy a go on the waterslide, there will also be live entertainment on two different stages.

Another good thing about this event is that the WA Cider & Pork Festival is an entirely cashless event! They use EFTPOS at every bar, food stall and market stall. This means you can use your own EFTPOS, or certain credit cards anywhere, and there are no tokens, wristbands or similar items to wear.
